Attention: this event uses a blind reviewing approach, so please remove all personal data (like author, affiliation etc.) from your submission!

Electronic Submission Procedure

  1. Prepare your submission either as a PostScript or PDF file. You can also include material in other media such as applets and video, but the paper that is to appear in the printed proceedings must be in PostScript or PDF. We ask you to follow the standard layout for Eurographics Workshop on 3D Object Retrieval 2013 publications. A LaTeX2e style file to generate this layout is available (document class, style file, sample LaTeX2e source, and corresponding PDF output file). In case you do not use LaTeX2e to typeset your paper, please reproduce the style and layout in the sample PDF file as closely as you can in the system you are using.
In either case, please make sure that an image embedded in your paper does not contain transparent pixels (i.e. an alphachannel of a transparent color) because this will lead to problems when the resulting PDF is displayed or printed.
  2. In order to use our electronic submission system you must fulfil the following requirements: a modern browser is used (like MS Internet Explorer >= 4, Netscape >= 4), JavaScript is enabled and "cookies" are enabled (to be able to log in).
  3. In order to make a submission, you will need to register with the server. Please follow the instructions here to create a login account at the server. It is necessary to have a login account for reasons of security and protection. This account will allow you to submit your contribution and access your reviews for all active SRM events.
  4. The submission area is reached via the following link:
  5. Following "Create new submission" you will then be prompted to fill in the online Eurographics Workshop on 3D Object Retrieval 2013 Upload Form. You will have to indicate your name and affiliation as well as the title of your submission etc. At the bottom of the form, you will be prompted to upload your submission as a PDF or a ZIP or GZIP compressed archive (created with winzip, pkzip, zip resp. gzip) containing only the PDF or PostScript document. In addition to the PostScript or PDF file, you may also upload one or more other ZIP/GZIP archives containing accompanying movies (MPEG, QuickTime or AVI), images (JPEG or TIFF) and/or applets (one archive may contain several files, but you might want to keep the size small for easier upload). In case of acceptance, you will be requested to provide all the material for the CD-ROM/DVD conference proceedings or the Digital Library at the camera ready submission time.
Attention: depending on the quality of your Internet connection and the size of your compressed archives the upload of your submission might take a long time (upto some hours) during which your browser window seems to be "frozen". Do not abort the transmission or retry until you get some response! We recommend to split 'large' (~ 5 MB) archives into several smaller ones if possible.
  6. After each successful upload you will receive an email confirming your submission.
If you have not received a confirmation email, please contact
  7. If you wish to revise your submission after upload or the data you have entered (before the submission deadline), you can do so by simply following the link "Your existing submissions". During the reviewing process, revisions to submissions will not be permitted.
