The French Computer Graphics Days (Journées françaises de l’informatique graphique, j·FIG) is an annual scientific event that brings together around one hundred French experts in the field of computer graphics, including researchers, industry professionals, and doctoral students, approximately half of whom are PhD candidates. It provides an excellent opportunity to meet and recruit young talent, showcase activities, and establish collaborations between academia and industry.
Established in 1993, the conference aims to unite French research laboratories specializing in computer graphics. The community is structured around the French Association for Computer Graphics (AFIG), fostering long-term collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The field of computer graphics covered by the conference spans a broad scientific spectrum, including geometric modeling, computer animation, deformable physical models, lighting simulation, fluid simulation, interactive visualization methods, and photorealism. These areas involve the development of mathematical and physical models as well as their efficient implementation in computer systems.
